Anti Wrinkle Injections
What is Anti-Wrinkle treatment?
A non-surgical, quick and relatively painless procedure used to reduce and prevent wrinkle formation, such as crow's feet or frown lines.
Small injections are given with procedures typically lasting for 10-15 minutes, letting you get on with your day straight after.
We use the highest grade of Botulinum toxin Type A (Botox) for our treatments.
What is Botox?
It's a neurotoxin that's been safely used in non-surgical procedures for decades. It targets the nervous system, disrupting the signalling processes that stimulate muscle contraction. This is how it causes temporary muscle paralysis.
By relaxing muscles, it smoothes wrinkles created by movement, especially on the forehead or around the eyes.
It's the most popular non-surgical treatment in the world.

How long does it last?
It takes about 2 weeks to achieve the full effect of the treatment.
Depending on the individual, the effects typically last up to 3-4 months, diminishing over time.
At this stage, repeat treatments will be required to maintain the reduction in muscle movement and reduce the effects of wrinkles on the overlying skin.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal Fillers substances based on Hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally exists in your body.
They work to effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles, add volume and to revitalise the skin.
Treatments typically take around 30 minutes depending on the area being treated.
What is Hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a sugar molecule found naturally in the body and attracts water.
This is what gives us plump and youthful skin. As we age, HA production decreases which can lead to wrinkles and skin sagging.
One of the key functions of HA is retaining water, which leads to hydrating, adding volume and lift to the skin and lips.

How long does it last?
Dermal Fillers are not permanent and can typically last between 6-18 months.
The duration length varies from person to person and depends on several factors including the type of filler used and where it's injected.
The effects of fillers can also be reversed. This is achieved by using a substance called hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler.
